Another Month Flown By

The older I get the faster time seems to go by. I never really believed people when they said that. Maybe if I had listened to them then perhaps I would've relished a little longer in the good moments while they were happening. However, there is still the future and God has great plans in store and many more moments where I can enjoy the blessings he's given me. No matter how quickly time flies.

Speaking of time flying spring is here again! What a pretty sight it is to see daffodils and hyacinths stretching their heads to the sky as yet another year comes. Also my dad started planting in the garden and in a couple months the wonderful taste of fresh vegetables will be right at our fingertips...hooray!

This year I'm feeling so nostalgic because even though spring marks the season of beginnings, for me this year it is marking one of a chapter closing. As you know in a few months I will be moving across the country. I am so excited! God is with me and will take me to new places literally and in my relationship with him that I never dreamed of. Sometimes when you least expect it your life will change. And for the better.

"God is preparing you for what he has prepared for you."

I take that quote to heart because I wonder if everything in my life has built up to this move. I have a strong faith in God thanks to the guidance of my parents and wonderful people in our church family. Also I have family out in Washington, so I know I will never really be alone, but still able to spread my wings and fly. I pray that God will use me out there and I can't wait to see how he does :)

Have a great day!

Update On My Life

Hi Everyone :)

Hope all is well for everyone on this leap day :) So I am going to try and get better at this blogging thing and keep it more up to date and about what's going on in my life. As many of you know in June I will be experiencing a huge change. Like moving across the country huge!

This year in June I will be packing up and moving to Washington state. A big change for someone who never really thought much about living outside Lancaster county before 6 months ago. But God has plans for each one of us that are bigger than we can ever imagine sometimes and we just have to go with it.

The decision to move was not an easy one and it took about two months to make, but it is where I feel God is leading me and I couldn't do it without him. It's hard to imagine leaving here when I have been blessed with so much and I am so comfortable. Perhaps that's why God's telling me to go. I'm too comfortable.

I'll be living with my sister and brother-in-law, which will be exciting! I can't wait to spend time with them and getting to see my niece and nephew everyday will be awesome :) My boyfriend also lives out there and it will be nice to get to see him more often too :)

Many people ask if I plan to go to school out there and the answer is still no. I'll keep on working and see what God leads me to do. That doesn't mean school will never happen, just not at this point in my life.

Another thing I keep getting asked is how long do I plan to stay living out there. I honestly do not know. I'm going to give it some time and then see. It all depends on how long it takes to adjust and what all I'm involved in. I plan on getting involved with a church out there and volunteering in youth ministry and possibly children's ministry like I am here.  But we'll have to see because I don't want to fill my plate too full after just getting there.

This pretty much sums up what's been going on in my life. It's new and somewhat scary, but I think I'm ready and I'm excited :)
